A blind flange is a form of flange connection. In fact, it is a flange without a hole in the middle. One of its functions is to seal the end of the pipe, and the other is to facilitate the removal of debris in the pipe during maintenance.

The flange blind plate plays the role of isolation and cutting off, and the role played by the head and cap is the same. Because of their good sealing performance, systems that require complete isolation, are generally used as a reliable means of isolation. A blind plate is a solid circle with a shank and is used for systems that are normally isolated under normal conditions. The 8-letter blind, shaped like an 8-letter, has a blind end and a throttle ring at the other end, but the diameter is the same as the pipe diameter and does not play a throttle role. The 8-letter blind is easy to use, using the blind end when isolation is needed and the throttle ring end when normal operation is required, and it can also be used to fill the installation gap of the blind on the pipe. Another feature is the clear marking, easy to identify the installation status.

Alloy 304 also known as UNS S30400 is an austenitic 18/8 stainless steel type containing 18% chromium and 8% nickel content. It has excellent formability and grade 304 provides resistance to a wide range of atmospheric as well as other corrosive media.
